Acers new "budget" gaming laptop series was very successful. It was providing pretty decent performance with a reasonable price tag. However This years new lineup is just got better. It has new 9th generation Intel processor and NVIDIA new GTX 1650 graphics card. Acer upgraded both nitro 5 and nitro 7.

GTX 1650:

A big part of the success is the new GPU by NVIDIA which is pretty decent as compared to the 1050Ti with almost same price. The current price of GTX 1050Ti is starting from 150$ whereas the 1060 card costs also 150$(both usd). Now as the price of both card is same, we expect same performance. It is not that simple. Performance of both cards are different and 1650 is quite better that the 1050Ti.
⦁    The 1050Ti has 768 pipelines whereas the 1650 has 896 pipelines.
⦁    The core speed of 1050Ti is 7000 and of 1650 is 8000(both in Mega Hz).
⦁    Both share same memory bus 128bit.

Nitro 5:

The nitro 5 costs around 800$ and comes with a 9th generation i9 processor. It is little bit different from the previous model. It has much smaller bezels (Same 1080p though). Keyboard and track pad are same. It has 4 USB ports, a type c, headphone jack, HDMI and an Ethernet(Tadaaaa......). It has built in 2X2 WiFi card.
Now about performance, as I mentioned earlier the GTX1060 is pretty dope. Pretty much every game was running above 60fps in 1080p. Whether you play more multiplayer games fo AAA s, this is a greate deal for you. Now if you want to play hardcore multiplayer games like CS:Go, COD or Apex, you might want to lower the quality so you can get maximum frames per second. It gives around 20% better performance( According to Linus :) ) than the GTX 1050Ti. Its battery backup is quite good, in comparison to other gaming laptops. It has a 55Watt hr battery life and can go up to 8 hours without charging. They still have the RGB lights in keyboard. The overall chassis is like the 2017 nitro 5(Of course with thinner bezels). The front camera is pretty bad(shitty to be exact). However if that bothers you so much you can buy one.

Nitro 7:

The built quality is same as the nitro 5. The keyboard is slightly different and the track pad is same. It has Intel 9th gen i9 processor , 8gb DDR4 ram and GTX1650Ti. Its price is around 1000$ and it is not the best valued laptop. So if you want your every penny worth you should buy the nitro 5.
